Perry has held positions from HIM clerk to department director. He has also served a
Health Information educator and in numerous volunteer leadership roles at the local, state
and national levels. He is a former President and Distinguished Service Award
recipient of the Florida Information Management Association. Perry is currently
"thrilled" to be serving a three year term on the American Health Information
Management Association (AHIMA) Board of Directors.
His Career Management expertise has been shared in numerous presentations and
publications including the Journal of AHIMA and the book, HIM Journeys: A Career Guide
for Health Information Management Professionals.
